temporary interaction limits · github

sometimes discussions on issues or pull requests can get a little bit heated and it can be nice to give everyone some time to cool down. the new interaction settings allow for maintainers to temporarily limit who can comment, create pull requests, and create issues to existing users, collaborators, and prior contributors. after 24 hours, the limits expire and allow users to go back to interacting as before.we hope this will promote healthier, more level-headed discussions and encourage friendly collaboration across projects. to learn more, read the documentation.
